Awo 1 Group's story

This is Awo 1 Group. They will begin their first loan cycle with Kiva's partner, ID Ghana, which is located in the province of Teshie. The group is made up of five members and is led by Sarah.

The loan that ID Ghana offers will benefit a range of businesses, including the one that Sarah owns. Currently she has a business selling ground-nut paste and liquid soap at the local market.

The loan will be used to purchase additional bags of ground nuts for the production of ground-nut paste, in order to meet customer demand.

Sarah is also involved in the employment of youth. She supports them in financing their education through the sale of roasted fish, which also helps her to supplement her income and support her family financially. She is married and has three children who are in school.
