Mrs. Savy M. is the village-bank president who has been selected by the members of a group loan. The village-bank loan consists of 14 people located in Preak Svay village in the Kandal province. They will all use the loan for different purposes.

Mrs. Savy M. is a housewife and her husband, Mr. Phy Than, is an electrician who owns a small business in the local village. This famiL. doesn't earn enough income; however, they try to work hard with their business. Thus, Mrs. Savy M. decided to ask for a loan to buy some electric supplies to expand their business. This couple has nine children, two of whom are employed in the garment factory. Two of their other children help them with the electric system, while the others are attending the local public school.
