A loan helped to pay some personal after-birth medical expenses for a villager woman so she can have her health back and lead a normal life again.

Blerta's story

Blerta is very grateful for the two previous times she had Kiva lenders' support. Once was to buy a vehicle to transport her diary products and another time was to make some repairs at her house. This way, she provided a safer shelter for her three little children.

Blerta had her third child only 8 months ago. "Thanks God he is okay, but I haven't felt very well and I feel so sorry because I haven't been able to give him the proper care he needed. To be honest, we haven't got a penny saved so I couldn't go and pay any personal medical expenses. I even felt ashamed to come and ask another time for a loan. But I feel really sorry for my husband who is struggling to take care for the children, me, and all of our agricultural activity at the same time!"said Blerta, feeling sorry during the interview.

Blerta hopes to find your support again this time and thanks to all of you for the previous support. She wishes Happy Easter to all of you!

This loan is special because:

It supports women in a country where financing options are scarce.
