Sr. Marcelo is a new client. A couple of years ago, Catholic University gave him the opportunity to manage a cafeteria at one of its campuses. Marcelo saw a great demand for food among the students and faculty, so he decided to buy the equipment needed to offer fast food since there were no other places to eat.

He needs the money to restock the cafeteria with merchandise and also purchase ingredients for preparing fried chicken, hamburgers, and sandwiches. Marcelo works with his wife, who helps with managing the cafeteria. He is grateful to Emprender and Kiva for demonstrating confidence in him by providing this loan.
