A loan of $250 helped purchase of tanks of gas.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 34 and owns a home where she lives with her mother, her sisters, and her three children: Paul (20), Angie (8) and Sayuri (4).

She has been selling tanks of gas from her home for 5 years. The wholesale distributors leave her the tanks, which she resells at a profit. She likes this work a lot because it is quite profitable, since in the area where she lives there is no competition and her earnings are good. In addition, it is a peaceful type of work that does not require her to exert herself too much, because her customers come to her house to get the tanks of gas, and at times she gets help from her sisters or her children.

She also sells soft drinks and beer, which are in the most demand on the weekends.

In the future, Rosa plans to remodel a part of her home in order to open a small store where she can sell her drinks and other foods.

This is Rosa's fifth loan with MFP [Microfinanzas Prisma] and she is sure that she will be very responsible about repaying it, since she wants to keep a good relationship with this lending field partner. She will use the loan she is asking for now to buy tanks of gas, soft drinks, and various cases of beer.
