A loan of $625 helped to buy stock merchandise for her store.

Flor Imelda's story

Imelda, 27, lives with her husband and her 8-month-old son in Sumpango Sacatepequez. They own a store where they sell typical clothing as well as a bus that provides transportation for people within the same community. Imelda manufactures typical blouses every day to sell in her store. She hopes to contribute to seeing that her family has a better quality of life. This is her first loan and she pledges to be punctual with her payments. The money she is asking for will be used to buy more blouses and she will also sell sweaters that will serve to better stock her store.
