A loan of $3,900 helped a member increase working capital.

Señor De Mayo Group's story

The Señor De Mayo community bank consists of a board of directors:

The president is Susy, who was born in Cochabamba and makes a living tending to a calling center and lives in her parents' home in the zone of Tamborada, 1st of May barrio;

The secretary is Laura, who makes a living selling sandals and cosmetics in Tamborada every day of the week and lives in a rent house in the 1st of May barrio along with her husband and two children;

The treasurer is Diana, who has made a living selling cosmetics from Monday-Saturday for the past two years and lives in a rented home in the 1st of May barrio along with her husband and son.

The group has no delinquencies, and the members work together and support each other until each loan repayment is complete. The money for the loan they are requesting will be used to increase working capital and purchase supplies. All the members are responsible and dynamic people who work hard to cover household expense and make headway for the family, in many cases all on their own. All the members are grateful for Emprender and Kiva for their confidence in authorizing this loan.
