A loan of $225 helped to buy clothing.

Olga's story

Olga, 58, lives in her own home with her life partner Máximo, 58. They have 5 children but only their daughter, Yaniré, 25, her husband and small son, live with them.

For the past 8 years, Olga has sold clothing and footwear. She does well in this business because she has regular customers that always ask for the latest fashions and for variety. She sells on credit. When payments are due, Olga visits her customers in their homes or at their work. She makes enough profit to be able to help meet household expenses. She also sells beauty products of an internationally-known brand; this also produces good dividends.

For the future, Olga plans to set up a clothing store in a stable setting so that she can sell more comfortably in only one place; she would like to rest from the innumerable walks she has undertaken over these years.

This is her third loan with MFP and she is sure that she will be responsible and punctual with her payments. Olga plans to invest the money requested in more clothing because she has many orders placed for Summer. She will also have flooring installed in her house, which is where she conducts her sales, so that it will be more presentable.
