Ludmila's story

Ludmila is a 27-year-old young woman from the village of Todiresti, in the Ungheni region of Moldova. She is married and has a daughter who is going to the kindergarten. Ludmila’s family is known in the village as hardworking and very friendly.

Ludmila studied pedagogy and has worked in the school as a teacher for seven years. Her husband Ion is a driver.

In her free time, Ludmila likes to deal with farming. She grows vegetables in the garden of her house. Ludmila inherited the love for agriculture from her parents, together with the house. She dreams to have a greenhouse in which she could grow more vegetables.

She decided to ask for a loan from Kiva to build a greenhouse. As a result, she will be able to feed her family with their own ecologically grown vegetables, and will be close to her dream.
