A loan of $1,100 helped to buy a computer.

Rosalpina's story

Rosalpina is single and has two children: Pierina is 25 years old, married, but lives with her mother and is in her final year of Business Administration at university; and Rafael who is 21 years old and is in his fourth year of a course in Marketing.

Rosalpina has worked for the Mayor’s Office in the municipality of Juigalpa for seven years. She is asking for her ninth loan and will use it to buy a computer so that her children can do their university work and research on it. As well, Rosalpina would use it to do work that she hasn’t been able to finish in the office because a reduction in hours has meant that she can’t complete reports in the time allotted.

Her past loans have been used to improve her house. She is much-liked by her work colleagues and is known to be honest and responsible.
