A loan of $725 helped to buy ingredients and beverages.

Maria Natalia's story

María, 44, is separated and has 3 minor children under her care. She lives in the Fundo San Nicolás sector, which is in the city of Lambayeque located 20 minutes from Chiclayo.

Three years ago, needing to provide for her children, she started to work selling prepared meals in a small eatery located inside a rice mill in the city's outskirts. She offers her various dishes to mill employees and occasional customers that visit the mill. This is her only source of income so every day she gives her best in order to make it succeed.

Demand for her dishes has caused María to consider enlarging her business preparing new dishes to offer her customers as well as selling beverages. For this reason, she is calling upon Edpyme Alternativa for the first time to request a 2000 new sol loan, which will be used to buy ingredients for her dishes and soft-drinks.

María is a responsible and hard-working mother. Her dishes are very tasty and she enjoys cooking very much. Her greatest wish is to provide her children with the opportunity to study a professional career that will assure them better futures.
