Rosa Emilia's story

Rosa Emilia P. D. N. is 50 years old and lives in Santa Tecla, a zone of La Libertad. She lives with her husband and their three children who are in college and help with the business. Mrs. Rosa has a bakery, where she works making pan dulce (a name given to the bread of El Salvador, and which is sweet, as indicated by its name). For many years she has worked at this type of job, which has allowed her to help her children get ahead, provided the means for her husband to take care of the home's expenses and, paid for their children's studies. Their children help every afternoon preparing the bread. Rosa sells her products out of the home, in bulk or individually. She also has a sales route and delivers bread to the houses of certain customers. Rosa is a very enthusiastic and hard-working lady. She has devoted a large part of her life to making bread, and has a lot of experience, which allows her to have many customers. She is asking for a loan to be able to buy more flour, yeast, honey, and other ingredients to make more bread for her customers.
