Berebedwa's story

Berebedwa A. M. is fifty years old, single, and has five children. Her business is located at Mukumu near a hospital and a busy market in Kakamega. For the last fifteen years, Berebedwa has been engaged in her business of selling doughnuts and chips (french fries) to the local people. Her major challenge has been the low purchasing power of her customers. However she is using her loan to purchase milk for sale as well as more potatoes and chips. Berebedwa hopes to expand her business and catch a larger market. She also hopes to purchase a plot for herself. She is a hardworking and visionary woman.
