Bosco A., who appears in the small photo is also in the big photo and he is the leader of his lending group in Rukungiri. He is 41 years old, married, and has five children, all of whom are in school. He also takes care of two orphans. Bosco is a businessman with a grocery store in Kyatoko trading center that has run for 13 years. He buys and stocks fresh produce, such as vegetables, matooke (a plantain dish), Irish potatoes and so on. From his transactions, he is able to make 100,000 UGX as weekly profit. This enables him to take care of his family and pay his children’s school fees. Bosco needs a loan to buy more produce for resale.
