A loan of $575 helped to increase merchandise (buy clothing).

Rosa's story

Rosa, 32, lives happily with her husband Jhon (32), and their 2 playful children: Yesenia (11), and Ruben (4). They live in their own cozy home.

For 4 years she has sold clothing; she offers her merchandise to her neighbors and friends who make orders according to the season. The advantage of her business is that she sells clothing on consignment, which is to say that her customers promise to pay after some time. Rosa likes her work because she gets considerable earnings that allow her to help with the household expenses, but the difficulty is that at times her customers fall behind in their payments and this delays her ability to buy new garments. However, as she is an enterprising woman she has many plans for the future; among these is to have a store in a fixed location and eventually to open a boutique.

This is her 7th loan from MFP, and she assures us that she will be responsible in making each one of her payments, as she has been doing up to now. With the money that she now requests she will buy a large quantity of clothing so that she can offer variety to her customers.
