A loan of $3,300 helped a member investment in a chicken rotisserie business.

Mirador De Carabayllo Group's story

Rosa is 40 years old and has two dependent children. Her husband is supportive of her business activities as a means of improving their income. Rosa is a member of the group “Mirador de Carabayllo”, which consists of ten members. She was recently appointed to be the treasurer of the group. The members reside in the area of “La Flor” in the District of Carabayllo.

Rosa sells beauty products in the mornings to relatives, friends, and acquaintances. In the afternoons, she sells grilled chickens from her rotisserie shop. Her restaurant has been in operation for three years and is located in her home, which is equipped with a few tables and chairs for accommodating her customers. The revenue from this business enabled her to add a second floor to her house. She enjoyed opening her restaurant and plans to keep it in operation this year. The loan she is requesting will be invested in her rotisserie business.
