A loan of $2,925 helped a member to buy fertilisers and other products to work his garden so as to sell vegetables.

Jiguiya Fansirakoura Group's story

Harouna is the one holding the watering can in his hand. He is 38 years old and has four children, two of which are in school. Having worked in market gardening for five years, he had several financial concerns so, to improve his gardening business, he requested funds from RMCR in order to buy more fertilisers, products and pesticides.
He stocks up at the local fayres and, having tended his garden for 6 months, he harvested his crops and sold them at those same fayres. Thanks to his way of selling, he earned a considerable profit which enabled him to cover his household expenses such as medical costs, clothes and school supplies.
