A loan helped a member to save money spent on fuel and to use the ACE 1 cook stove for electricity at night and for charging mobile devices.

Baile Batho Group's story

Pholo is a hard-working 63-year-old widower, and he is a regional chief. He is a livestock farmer and lives with his three grandchildren in a two bedroom house. Pholo spends LSL 220 every month on cooking gas, paraffin, and candles. There is no electricity in his village and he struggles to get his mobile devices charged.

Pholo and the three other ladies in his village say the ACE 1 clean cookstove is going to help them save a lot of money on fuel every month. The cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
