Fatoumata's Group's story

This banc villagois is composed of 7 women and was founded in March 2010. They all work primarily in commerce, selling a variety of products.

Madam Aminata can be found to the right of the photograph with her hand raised. She is the group's representative. Madam Aminata is married at age 37, with 4 children, 3 of which are girls.

Madam Aminata has had a small business selling food for several years. She plans to use this new loan in order to purchase necessary ingredients such as vegetable oil, rice, spaghetti, vegetables, and spices in order to prepare meals, which she will sell from home.

The proceeds of her sales will allow her to help her husband cover their family's daily living expenses and will allow her to pay for education and healthcare for their children.

In this group: Fatoumata, Mame , Aissatou, Therese, Binta, Banna, Aminata
