Gerson Jonathan's story

Gerson Jonathan A. C., 21, lives in San Martín, San Salvador department, with his family, which is made up of his mother and three younger siblings, who are in elementary school. Gerson has a bakery in which he makes pan dulce (a type of bread made with flour, honey or sweets; its flavor is similar to a cookie). Gerson bakes the bread and then distributes to his customers. It's worth mentioning that he has a set route along which he distributes his bread. Although his bakery is only a year old, he has a very good reputation for being very responsible and always making his deliveries on time. He is requesting funding to buy flour, eggs, and the other needed ingredients for his bread. At his young age, Gerson is a young man who has taken responsibility for his business, struggling daily to provide support for his family. His family members help out with the business but it's Gerson who carries the main responsibility for running the bakery throughout the day.
