A loan of $1,075 helped to increase her merchandise.

Betzabeth's story

Betzabeth is 33 years old, and lives with her husband and 3 children in a rented house. She has dedicated herself to commerce for the past 7 years, having started out selling food. She now has a store where she sells food items, school supplies and decorations, etc.

Her business is in her home, which allows her to still care for her children and do the housework, therefore not neglecting her household responsibilities. Given the profitability of her store, Betzabeth has planned to increase the quantity of merchandise she offers in order to attract her neighbors and other customers.

This is the seventh time she has an opportunity to access credit through MFP, given she has experience working with a team such as that in a cooperative bank, and she is very grateful for this. The funds that she is currently requesting would be used to buy groceries with which to supply her store.
