A loan of $550 helped purchase of inventory: grains.

Antonia's story

Antonia is 49 years old, she lives with her husband and their three children in a rented house in Huancayo city.

For the past 5 years she has been selling grains. She buys them in bulk in the rural zones in her area, straight from the farmers, and during the weekends she takes them to the nearby cities to sell them. That way she obtains weekly earnings that enable her to stock up with new merchandise constantly.

For Antonia her business is profitable because she deals in scarce food products which are in high demand in the areas she travels to, and this gives her the impulse she needs to keep working for a better future.

This is the second time in which she has a loan from MFP, which shows she was a very responsible person with the loan she got the first time. With the money she now asks for she will continue investing to boost her business. Se will increase her merchandise buying more grains wholesale.
