A loan helped to buy a solar powered freezer that will help to improve the business revenue of her grocery store.

Rosa's story

Rosa is a 31-year-old enterprising woman who lives in a community in Yoro, Honduras. Together with her husband she makes a living growing coffee and also has a grocery store business.

Rosa is a leader in her community and works to contribute to the development of it. She wants to be able to expand her business selling products that need refrigeration (meats, dairy and others) which are basic, especially in the children's diet. In her community they do not have electricity, so they are forced to walk to the nearest community to acquire these services.

For these reasons Rosa is asking for a loan from Soluz Honduras for the purchase of a solar powered freezer that will allow her to generate more income in her business and also provide a better service to her community.
