A loan of $700 helped buy a new sewing machine.

Ramiro's story

Ramiro is a new client. He is married and has three children. He returned to the country a year and a half ago from Argentina. He went looking for better days for himself and his family. He returned with the experience of having worked within the field of sewing. He learned a lot, and he brought his experience back with him. He now has his own shop with four machines, and he provides employment for other people.

It was not very good for him in the foreign country because they did not pay them as they should have. That is why he decided to return from there. For the time being you can find him at the market winning customers little by little. His shop is not very well known yet, but he is planning on making it grow.

His dreams are to grow in the market, have better conditions to face the competition, and to be very well known. His second dream is to buy a house and give his family better living conditions. In the future he will be entering the border markets like Brasil and Argentina.

The loan is to buy a new sewing machine.

He is grateful to Emprender and Kiva for the confidence given in granting the loan.
