Ayaba Georgette's story

H. Ayaba Georgette was born on March 9, 1972 in Allada in the 'Atlantique' region. For nearly 7 years, Ayaba Georgette has been living in the Yénawa district in Cotonou, economic capital of Bénin. Married to NOUGBODE DJEDJE Toussaint, she is the mother of two children, both enrolled in school. She lives with her husband and children. Her husband is the chief breadwinner for the family, but Ayaba Georgette helps him with the responsibility of taking care of and educating the children, thanks to the income from her little business.



Ayaba Georgette left off her studies in secondary school and learned to do hairdressing. She has a hairdressing salon in her home and has been in this business for about 12 years. Moreover, Ayaba Georgette sells hair extensions and other hair products and cosmetics in her salon. She gets her merchandise in Dantokpa, the international market of Bénin.



Ayaba Georgette has never before received a loan from ALIDé. She is requesting this first loan from ALIDé, in order to add to her stock of products and better satisfy the needs of her clientele.
