A loan helped a member to pay for sheep to resell to support her family.

Soroyiriwaton Group's story

NENE is the lady holding the sheep by the horn in the photo. An uneducated Malian woman, she is 56, married, and the mother of four children, of whom three are in school. Her children are aged 2 to 15.

For over fifteen years, she has been raising sheep. A creditworthy client, she makes her purchases at nearby markets, where she also makes sales. The profits she earns enable her to meet certain needs of her children.

She turns to RMCR to purchase many head of livestock. She often runs into the problem of slow sales at the market. This is why she would like to have a big loan to develop her livestock business.
