Johana Del Transito's story

Doña Johana, age 38, lives in a neighborhood known as “380”. She is the mother of three children. Her husband and she work together in order to be able to give their beautiful children a good education so that in the future they can have better opportunities.

Her husband works for a clothing distributor as a merchandise manager. Her business is a small bookstore. After much effort from both of them they saved in order to establish this small business. Seasonally, sales drop off, but Johana doesn’t stop selling since education is what most of the country’s parents strive for so that their children succeed.

With this loan she wants to purchase notebooks, pencils, erasers, liquid paper, rulers, poster board, backpacks, calculators, cosmetics, and many other products in this school year so that she can offer her customers everything necessary for school. The goal of this financing is to be able to invest more in order to improve earnings and to progress each day, little-by-little, towards her goal of having a well-stocked bookstore. She is grateful to Afodenic for the support provided by this loan, which will be of great benefit to her business.
