María Elizabeth's story

María Elizabeth P. G., 42, lives with her husband, who works in construction, and their three minor children, in the town of San Martín, San Salvador department. María has a small grocery store in which she sells food items, detergents, and everything you need to meet basic household needs; items that are indispensable in any home. She has worked for several years now trying to keep her business afloat since it is through it that she and her life partner strive to meet many of the family's expenses. For this reason, María is requesting a loan in order to stock her store. She will buy larger quantities of the items she already stocks and add some new ones like: thread, adhesive tape, disinfectants and other products.
