Emiliana

Peru
Lima, Peru / Grocery Store

A loan of $725 helped to buy stock items for her store.

Emiliana's story

Emiliana, 47, lives with her husband, Juan (52) and her four young children: Lourdes (30), Juan (27), Miguel (25) and Adrián (6). They all live together peacefully in their own home.

She has sold basic food items for the last 30 years from a grocery store installed in her own home. She starts her work day at 8am and ends at 10pm. What she likes best about her work is interacting with her neighbors since they come to her store regularly to see what she has to offer: everything from sweets to vegetables, fruits, and fresh chicken. Her profits are good because she doesn't have any nearby competition. Because Emiliana is an enterprising woman, she is planning to improve her store's installations and turn it into a minimart in the future, in order to increase her profits and offer the best to her customers.

She has collaborated with MFP for many years and this is her 10th loan. She, therefore, pledges, once again, to be very punctual with her payments. Emiliana plans to invest the money in merchandise with which to stock her store and thus continue to progress in life.
