A loan helped to purchase cotton, cloth, thread etc to expand the mattress-making business.

Sirina's story

Sirina is a 31-year-old married woman from a small village of Murshidabad district, West Bengal. She has a family of 3 members and a monthly household income of INR 8,000.

She is a housewife and her husband is involved in a mattress-making business. He purchases cloth, cotton, foam etc from the dealers, makes the mattresses and sells them in the local market. Apart from doing household chores, she also helps her husband in the business. As it is the only source of income for the family, she wants to expand the business by purchasing more stock of cloth, foam, thread, and cotton.

She has applied for a loan of INR 20,000 from BJS, one of Milaap's field partners.

She and her husband will be thankful to their lenders for the support.
