A loan of $1,050 helped increasing her inventory.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is 50 years old and lives with her husband and 6 children in the family's own house.

For the past 6 years, Yolanda has been selling bulk dry foods and cheese as a mobile vendor. She obtains her highest profits on days when there are markets in her area. Because of this, she stocks up on supplies every 15 days, so that her business will always be active. Yolanda is very happy with this business, because it lets her ensure that her family's expenses are covered.

For the future, she wants to have a permanent sales stand where she can sell a larger quantity of cheeses and other food products, and eventually expand her business into a wholesale food distributor.

This is Yolanda's seventh loan with MFP, and she is very happy to belong to a communal bank, since with the support of her fellow members, she has been able to overcome a number of economic difficulties.

On this occasion, the funds she is requesting will be invested in purchasing bulk dry foods such as beans and grains.
