A loan of $300 helped purchase tires for his truck & invest in his cattle business.

Augusto's story

Augusto is a member of the Communal Bank “Pro Desarrollo” (Pro Development). He lives in Pisac, which lies in Calca Province, Department of Cusco. Pisac is located 40 minutes away from the city. It is small town that inherited beautiful Incan structures, which is required sightseeing by all tourists who visit the city of Cusco.

Augusto is 41 years old, married, and has three children (ages 17, 11, and 9). He is a rancher who buys and sells all types of cattle. Augusto began saving money so that he could buy one head of cattle at a time to increase his herd. He has yet to determine whether he will buy a cow or a bull with the funds he will be receiving. Augusto has an immediate need to purchase tires for his truck because he is currently renting a small vehicle to transport his cattle.

He is grateful for this opportunity and promises to complete his payments on time.
