Salayef Group's story

Manal is a 30-year-old Syrian refugee mother of a big family that consists of five children. She is the featured borrower of Salayef Group, made up of three Syrian refugee women. She runs her own sewing shop business to help her husband in covering their family expenses.
She is thinking of increasing her merchandise through offering new items in her business, so she got together with Roula and Ibtissam to acquire a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua. She will use her loan share to buy some colorful fabrics to sew wide dresses called "abaya" for women.
She is a sacrificing mother who wishes to develop her business and have a big sewing and clothes shop in the nearest future, to meet her five children's increasing expenses.
Ibtissam is the lady sitting on the right side of the picture, Manal is the lady sitting in the middle, and Roula is the lady sitting on the left side.
