Carlos Gerardo's story

Carlos Gerardo M. Garcia is 36 years old, married, and has three children, who are his greatest priority, along with his wife. His children are 13, 12, and 9 years old, respectively. He wants this credit in order to improve his welding workshop and for the purchase of work materials. He has a locale where he performs welding and painting jobs. This is the first time that Carlos has financed himself through FUDECOSUR, and he states that the credit committee has helped him a lot and has made things easy for him. With this project, he hopes to grow and improve his work capacity and therefore increase his income. Furthermore, he desires to better himself as a person, and in that way be able to provide his family a better quality of life in the future and to have better economic stability.

The Foundation for the Development of Southern Communities is dedicated to economically empowering its clients by providing credit and capacitating programs to improve living conditions of micro-entrepreneurs and their children across Southern Costa Rica.
