A loan of $525 helped to buy gasoline.

Roman's story

Roman, 37, is married and lives with his wife and three children in the Punto 9 sector, Mochumí district, which is 30 minutes away from the city of Chiclayo. For the last two years he has sold gasoline from his home. He began this work because the earnings he made from working as a field hand were not enough to meet family expenses. Gasoline is very useful in the area where he lives, above all for irrigation of farmlands, because the great majority of fields do not have irrigation canals and the crops must be watered with water that is extracted from wells by motors. He also works as an agricultural field hand. Roman is aware that he must exhert the greatest effort daily if he is to support his family so he gives his all to the tasks he does. He is asking Edpyme Alternativa for 1500 new soles to be used to enlarge his gasoline-sales business. His greatest wish is to provide his children with the possibility to study some kind of a professional career when they finish secondary school. He has collaborated with our institution in the past and he has shown himself to be responsible and punctual with respect to repayments.
