Vicenta's story

Vicenta is a member of the communal bank Wiñarisun, which means "we will grow" in Quechua. Vicenta is married, 65 years old, and has six children. She has a booth in the F. Vivanco market where she sells various meats everyday. She acquires the animals in fairs and raises them herself. Vicenta needs a loan of 2000 soles, which she will use to purchase cattle.
