A loan helped to buy fertilizers, and to pay for the maintenance and weeding of her coffee farm.

Albertina's story

Albertina is 63 years old. She is married and has three children. She lives with her husband and youngest son in the town of Nueva Frontera, Santa Barbara.

For over 20 years she has worked growing coffee. She also grows corn and beans. She has two plots of land she owns where her crops are grown. She sells both wet and dry processed coffee, corn, and beans to intermediaries in the area.

She seeks her third loan to buy fertilizers, and to pay for the maintenance and weeding of her farm. This will help her provide better maintenance to her coffee crop in order to have a higher quality production. Her goal is to continue growing coffee, and to make her business grow.
