Oscar Vicente's story

Mr. Oscar Vicente R. is 33 years old and lives with his family in the Buena Vista neighborhood. His wife works as a vendor, and he has an 8-year old daughter, who is in elementary school, and a 13-year old son. They have grown pineapples and basic grains for 12 years. One of the problems that he has faced in the last few years is draughts and insent infestation. He started his business thanks to agrarian reform. His father joined the cooperative and became involved in rural activities little by little. Oscar's plans include obtaining the necessary resources to diversify his products. This is why he needs the loan, which he will use to buy supplies like fertilizer to provide the necessary nutrients to his crops and improve his harvest. This will help improve the living conditions of his family.
