Efua's story

Efua is 53 years old. She is a wife with two children. Through her hard effort, all of her children graduated from the junior high years ago and are now working on their own. Efua owns and operates a grocery shop and sells items like rice, sugar, vegetable oil, bottled water, body and hair creams, and skimmed powdered milk. She also sells onions, spices, and peppers from her shop. She deems it a great opportunity to expand her business to include other items frequently demanded by customers. She wants to use the loan to buy more bags of rice, bags of sugar, cartons of vegetable oil, boxes of body and hair creams etc. to increase her inventory. Efua hopes to improve her sales to enable her to save more of her earnings for the future.
