A loan of $1,600 helped to buy dairy cows to increase her headcount of cattle and sales of organic milk.

Zinalkan's story

Zinalkan used her previous loan as intended. She is very thankful to Kiva and to everyone who helped her financially. She currently has seven cows and two horses on her farm as well as 1.6 hectares of land where she grows potatoes and alfalfa.

Zinalkan has again approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 110,000 KGS to buy dairy cows to increase her head count of livestock and her sales of organic milk. She plans to put income from the loan toward buying more cows, improving her family's living conditions, educating her children and saving to buy an apartment.

This loan is special because:

It supports organic farming and includes a rebate if all repayments are made on time.
