A loan helped construct a computer lab.

Munawer's story

Thirty-year-old Munawer established a low-cost private school in his community. There are 346 students enrolled in the school and 47% of them are female students. The aim of the school is to enable the under-privileged students to develop various skills, such as reading, speaking, listening, and analyzing. Another skill that Munawer is currently focusing on is computer-related knowledge. Therefore, he has decided to purchase computers for the students. However, there is a shortage of funds, so he has requested a loan of PKR 140,000 to construct a computer lab.

This loan is special because:

It helps low-income schools provide quality education in Pakistan's urban slums.
