Lavodi Plus Group's story

Lavodi Plus is a community bank of twenty-nine owners of small businesses. It is chaired by Franck O.. Its members are jointly liable for loans granted by Kiva through HOPE DRC to grow their businesses.

Franck, 31, became a micro-entrepreneur in 2007 and runs a booth selling phone accessories. Currently he earns a profit of $25 a day. His dream is to open a boutique in his area.

Franck has already received four loans from HOPE DRC and has fully repaid them. He intends to use this loan to reinforce his working capital in order to purchase more phone accessories to sell.

Franck is married and has two children, 6 and 8 years old. Both go to school.
