Mrs. Sok Ny K. is the group leader who has been selected by the members. She is a silk weaver and her husband, Mr. Phoeurn Hun, is a farmer who owns a small piece of land in which to cultivate rice to support their living. For weaving, she has a problem because she has too little silk to weave; furthermore, this family does not have enough money to buy silk for weaving. Thus, Mrs.Sok Ny K. decided to ask for a loan to buy some silk to weave to increase their income.

She is the mother of three children, two of whom are enrolled in primary school while the other one is too young to go to school or work.
