Lung's story

Lung S., 46, is a widow and lives with her two children in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Her daughter also runs a dessert stand at the market earning US $7 per day to help support the family as well.

S. and her family members work hard and help each other to ensure a good standard of living for their family. They are seeking to improve their businesses as well. S. is requesting a loan of US $800 from CREDIT, Kiva’s partner. She wants to use the loan to purchase rice from the local farmers in her village to stock for resale in the most profitable season.
