A loan helped to pay school fees for his children.


Gidion's story

For over 10 years as a resident in Bundibugyo, Uganda, Gidion has concentrated on cocoa farming as a primary economic activity for family's income and survival. Because he wants his children to be educated, he tries all his best to provide for them although he is affected by seasonal factors of the cocoa product.

He used the previous loan to pay school fees for his children, this gives him joy and is grateful to see that none has dropped out of school.

Gidion will use the loan to pay tuition for his daughter. He is married with five children and all attend secondary school.
