A loan helped a member to purchase bags of grains to resell.

Sababougnouma Group's story

Lidye, a member of the group, is the one in the photo sitting in front with her hands on the millet. She is 48 years old, married and the mother of seven children, ages eight to 23 years old; they all attend school. Lidye is very kind to her children.

Lidye has been in business selling grains (storing and reselling) for more than 18 years. She buys and sells her grains at the markets in her area and in the village. She is asking for a new loan to expand her storage business. The income will be enough for her to pay for the family's healthcare, education and food. Lidye can earn monthly income of 20,000 CFA francs from her activities. She dreams of becoming a large seller and being useful in her community.
