María Santos's story

María studied at school until fourth grade. She is in a relationship and her partner is a structural engineer. She has 4 children, 3 of whom live with her and don´t study.

María has been selling minutas (crushed ice with fruit) for 7 years and she decided to start this business to help her partner cover the household expenses.
She travels 2 to 3 kilometers selling her minutas.
She works from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and two of her children help her.
In addition she undertakes another activity, which is the breeding of pigs.

María will use the loan to buy two pigs and also two quintals of concentrated feed to fatten and sell them.

María dreams of bringing forward her family and moving on with her two businesses.
