Giving up is not an option for 41-year-old Evangeline. A rice farmer from Agusan Del Sur, she works hard despite the many challenges she experiences in farming. She wants to double her harvest so she will be able to pay her obligations and still have income for herself.
Evangeline joined CEVI and applied for a loan of Php 8,000 which she will use to fund her farm. She will buy certified seeds, fertilizer and other farm inputs needed at her farm.
