A loan helped to pay for her shop license and purchase more items for her store such as soft drinks, detergents, petroleum jelly, toothbrushes and plastic bags.

Aneth's story

Aneth is 36 years old, single and the mother of two children who are still in school. She runs her own general store where she sells detergents, a few stationary items, soft drinks and food items. She has been running this business for seven years and opens her shop every day at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 9:00 p.m. She earns a profit.

This will be Aneth's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to purchase items for her store such as salt, sugar, beans, toothpaste, matchboxes and petroleum. She earned a profit that she used to support her family needs and to pay back the loan. Aneth will use this loan to pay for her shop license and purchase more items such as soft drinks, detergents, petroleum jelly, toothbrushes and plastic bags.

Her dream is to open a bar and wholesale shop in the near future.

Aneth will be responsible for successfully repaying the loan.
