Rice farming is the main source of living for Ninfa, 55. She supports 12 children in her family. The income she receives from her rice field is just enough to provide their basic needs. She joined Community Economic Ventures, Inc., a Kiva partner, to take a loan with a low interest rate to finance her business. She’s requesting 12,000 Philippine pesos to buy farm necessities and sustain her family.
